Anyone interested in Polish history should read "A QUESTION OF HONOR, the Kosciusko Squadron, Forgotten Heroes of World War ll" by Lynne Olson and Stanley Cloud. This book is a thrilling recounting of the Polish airforce and its role in saving England during the blitz. It goes on to explore the fate of Poland in the war and the tragic sellout which led to Stalin's receiving Polish occupation as a prize of that war. My Polish wife (Skowronski) would rest much easier if I can succeed in adding her history to my gen. records. Her father; Franczisek Skowronski, and her mother; Jozefa Dominowicz arrived at Ellis Is. 1885-90. A relative, banished to Siberia has been rumored to have escaped, and was in the Chicago area.
